Dog Transport During COVID-19

+ I continue to provide dog transport services during the coronavirus pandemic. My dog transport service is considered an essential service as detailed in guidelines published by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Many states currently use DHS guidelines to determine their own travel restrictions with all allowing travel across state lines for commercial purposes including dog transport.

+ For the safety of your dog and others, I will not travel if I am obviously sick or feel a cold/flu coming on.

+ I practice social distancing and recommended disease prevention methods to minimize contact with and transmission of the coronavirus. Contactless handoff and delivery of your dog is standard.

+ Keeping a customer’s dog away from other pets and people has always been and will continue to be my policy during transport.

+ Restrictions and plans can change quickly. I currently provide flexible terms for canceled and rescheduled transports.
